‘Cool to be Clever’ continues with local primary schools

Junior School, News

Yesterday, pupils from seven local primary schools joined us at Putney to take part in a special computing activity as part of the’Cool to be Clever’ programme in conjunction with the University of Roehampton. Their task was to create a fully working prototype of an eSafety app designed for children starting at secondary school, with a special focus on user experience and interface.

Mr Richards, Head of Computer Science, noted,“It was fantastic to see year 6s being so enthusiastic, attentive and inspired when designing apps.” The event follows on from a successful DT session in February.

Well done to all the computing wizards involved.
