Friends of Putney High School
About FOPHS
The Friends of Putney High School (FOPHS) is a registered charity run by parent volunteers. FOPHS exists to support Putney in creating a school community that gives the pupils the best possible environment in which to learn. All parents are automatically members of FOPHS, but there are lots of ways to become more involved in our events and projects.
Get Involved
Each year group has a FOPHS Rep who sits on our committee, votes on how our funds are distributed and helps to keep the communication link between the parents and the school open and accessible.
Often assisted by a couple of deputies, the Reps have key roles in organising our many events and projects for the students, as well as coordinating social events for the parents in their respective year group. These include coffee mornings, evening cocktails and end of term get-togethers.
If you would like to volunteer at any one of our social activities throughout the year, or lend a hand to one of our many projects then please get in touch. We would love to hear from you!

FOPHS Fundraising
All FOPHS fundraising directly benefits the pupils of Putney High School. Have a look at some of the ‘extras’ FOPHS helped to fund in 2023/24…
“Everyone at FOPHS is incredibly grateful for this very generous donation from the Nick Maughan Foundation. We look forward to supporting its objectives of education, environment and community whilst further enhancing the pupil experience at Putney High School. We look forward to the exciting new opportunities, experiences and equipment that a donation of this size will enable us to support. Many thanks to the whole Maughan family and to Alice for the time and energy she has given to FOPHS over many years.”
