Broadway came to Putney this week as the Performing Arts Centre was transformed into 1920s Chicago for the GDST premiere of the schools version of Kander & Ebb’s legendary musical about fame, fortune and acquittal.
With a cast of 24 and some exceptional choreography, audiences were impressed by the professionalism of the cast, crew and the musicians involved.
Emma Crocombe, Director of Drama said,” I am so proud of our Sixth Form Theatre Company. They have approached the show with such commitment and energy…every performance has been mesmerising and powerful. An outstanding company.”
