Breathe Week 2020

Events, General, Guests, Senior School, Sixth Form

“Hope for the Future”

This week, our thoughts turn once again to our environmental impact and the positive changes we can make to improve sustainability, and to care for the planet that sustains us.

We are looking forward to a week packed with activities and will be raising money to buy a few acres of rainforest through the World Land Trust and Putney’s own Just Giving page.

Here are just a few of the things we have planned:

  • Our eco-reps will be leading the design challenge to produce some Funky washable facemasks
  • The Big Draw festival – we will be producing a collaborative artwork on the theme of climate change
  • Cycling to school audit
  • Food waste surveys
  • Lunchtime litter pick with Mr Coulson
  • Gardening club with Miss Katze
Year 9 gardeners have been busy planting bulbs with Miss Katze.
