The ARTiculation Prize is an an annual public speaking competition for students aged between 16 and 19.  The aim of the event is to encourage young people to communicate confidently and to express their ideas and opinions on art.

Students needed to deliver a 10 minute presentation on a work of art, architecture or an artefact of their choice in front of an audience and adjudicator. One speaker will go through to the Grand Final which will be held at the University of Cambridge, Clare College on 13 March 2020.

The event was an afternoon of conversation and inspiration, Year 12 student Unity S, who won our internal heat at Putney,  gave her fascinating presentation on Leon Kossoff’s ‘Willesden Junction – Autumn Afternoon’, 1971.
