Our 11+ Music Taster Evening is a fantastic opportunity for pupils interested in Putney High School at 11+ entry to experience what it is like to play music at the senior school as well as meet some of our current music scholars and teaching staff.

Pupils will be sent the music in advance, and the final performance will be instrumental only (i.e. no vocal parts).

Please note, this event is open to all pupils who will be in Year 5 or 6 from September 2026 and does not constitute any part of the 11+ entrance assessments.

Please join us for an opportunity to see the school in action on Thursday 8 October.

Your visit will begin with a school assembly, followed by a student-led tour of the school. You will then have the opportunity to informally meet our Head, other members of teaching staff and the Admissions Team over light refreshments.

Please note, there will not be a formal Head’s talk during this event. Your daughter is welcome to join you.

Please join us to see the school on a ‘normal’ weekday on Friday 9 October.

There will be the opportunity to hear more about the ethos of Putney from our Head, Jo Sharrock. Members of teaching staff and the admissions team will also be able to answer any questions you have as part of an informal Q&A and over light refreshments. Tours are available before or after this session.

Your daughter is welcome to join you for both the tour and talk.

Student-led and self-guided tours are available to book throughout the morning. Current students, members of the teaching staff and the Admissions Team will also be available to answer any questions you have, whilst also taking part in various activities around the site.

We offer student-led tours during term time for those wishing to join us in Years 8, 9 or 10. Take a tour around the school site with a current Sixth Form student. There will also be the opportunity to speak to the admissions team.
