Poet, Frances Leviston has been at Putney this week hosting creative writing sessions with students from Years 9, 10& 12, as well as running five masterclass poetry workshops with a group of students from Y10-13.

Frances has published two books of poetry with Picador and been nominated for the T.S. Eliot and Forward prizes, she is also a writer of short stories.

“Poetry is an extraordinary art form that can change our relationship with language… because it can be about anything, and it can go anywhere, it is a great way to bring together different areas of knowledge and experience”.
