Everyone’s an original at Putney and creativity isn’t only for artists. Our Faculty for Creative and Visual Arts and Technologies breaks boundaries and celebrates the creativity behind technological entrepreneurship. Musicians compose more than their thoughts and from stage to green screen, everyone has a chance to perform. Editing magazines and software, designing and developing products and apps in the Rapid Prototyping Studio, Putney students are creative trailblazers ready to lead the way in sectors from fashion to fintech to formula one.

Inspired by NASA, Putney High School’s ground-breaking research into benefits of biophilia on wellbeing and academic performance has been adopted by organisations worldwide, as well as earning us a gold medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Wellbeing and sustainability are at the heart of what we do from our Junior Forest School to our Breathe environmental programme, ensuring every Putney student receives an exceptional education while thoroughly enjoying her childhood. Our proactive, girl-centred care combines with expert teaching and outstanding co-curricular opportunities to promote balance, fun, and resilience, ensuring every pupil feels secure with a strong sense of self and the knowledge they belong.
