Our daughter is involved in clubs from gardening to choir and chess club. She says: 'I am leading a full school life.'"
Girls are encouraged to take responsibility at the earliest opportunity. Younger girls share leadership roles within their classroom and, as they get older, there are more opportunities on offer. This may include representing their class on the Junior School Council or volunteering to be a Library Monitor. All girls in Year 6 are encouraged to take on a leadership role.
Positions of Leadership include: Democratically-elected class reps on School Council (from Year 1 upwards); Librarians (Year 4); Sports Leaders, House and Vice House Captains, Play Leaders, Lunch Monitors, Press Pack reporting for the website (Year 6).
