Academic Excellence

The curriculum is excellent and well-supplemented by school trips and other activities."

At Putney High School, we aim to promote a love of learning and to develop intellectual curiosity. We want all girls to take full advantage of the range of educational experiences on offer and to realise their academic potential to the full.

We have a wealth of experience and expertise. This means we can offer an exciting and varied curriculum. The school is constantly looking at ways to enhance and develop pupils' learning. Digital learning is fully integrated into the teaching and every pupil in Years 4 and 5 currently has the benefit of using a one-to-one iPad.

The Junior School is divided into three key phases:

  • Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception aged 4-5)
  • Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2, aged 5-7)
  • Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6, aged 7-11)
